El novelista español Alejandro Palomas es el finalista del VII Premio de Novela Ciudad de Torrevieja. El libro en cuestión se lo ha dedicado –textualmente– a su perro, fiel compañero de escritura. Al recibir el premio dijo: "no sabría hacer una novela en cinco años. Suelo escribir mis novelas en un mes; lo vivo muy intensamente. Comer, escribir y dormir.
